Group Personnel Bunker

We teamed up with local organisation Festung Guernsey to produce a digital twin and virtual tour of a WW2 underground Nazi bunker. The group, run by volunteers, have fully restored this Group Personnel Shelter located at Fort Hommet. Now, using our VR expertise the shelter can be viewed and by anyone as if they were there in person. Our VR tour allows you to step back in time and experience life as a German soldier during WW2. 

It was an exciting opportunity for us to use our software in order to help spread the history of our island and bring new eyes to what the island has to offer. This Personnel Shelter is not usually open to the public, so we’re very pleased to have been able to show it off to an international audience. Our tour brings more than just a visualisation of life in occupied Guernsey, our information tags scattered throughout the tour explain the inner workings of the shelter and translate the German text that still remains plastered over the walls.
