Irreverent look back at 2020

Swoffers is a client we have worked for over many years, in many different ways. One thing we like about them is whilst being professional, they also don’t take themselves too seriously. At the end of each year many companies like to look back at the previous 12 months. Swoffers is the same, but they like to put a light-hearted spin on it. For the last three years we have produced a round-up of the highlights of the year, not how many houses they sold or what great technology they have, but a look back at the big stories of the year, putting their own spin on it.

To produce this we start by having a “brain dump” with the team of everything we can thing of that was funny or a big/daft story during the year. We then whittle this down and between us start creating a script.

At that point we add in visual ideas, a lot of these include tiny details that many will miss. This year we tried to get Dr Nicola Brink into lots of scenes, the year before we put in an octopus.

With all this done it’s over to animator Adam Le Gallez. We have worked with Adam since he was about 15 years old, he is quite a talent and good at bringing the ideas to life whilst adding his own spin on it too.
