We worked with Art for Guernsey, who were holding a very special exhibition celebrating the works of Renoir in Guernsey and the impact his visit to the island had on his career. The main attraction was an original Renoir, acquired by a group of collectors, that the artist painted at Moulin Huet. The exhibition was a museum-quality event with information panels and multi-media films bringing together in-depth information on Renoir’s time in Guernsey.
At the time of the exhibition Guernsey was free of Covid, although it was still at large around the world so it wasn’t possible to travel to the event. We suggested using our virtual reality tour to make the event permanent in a digital world.
The benefit was that partners and sponsors around the world could share the experience without travelling, and the tour could be used as an educational tool in schools for years to come.
The tour enables us to embed video content and links to other material online – see for yourself by going into the tour below and exploring Renoir, Through the Eyes of a Master.
