Animated Graphics bring new project to life
We were asked to work with the Data Protection Office in Guernsey who were embarking on a new project called Project Bijou. They really needed to have some communication tools to clearly articulate what they were trying to achieve. At the outset we were given in depth briefs and had meetings to fully understand the project and any issues we may have to consider in the communications.
In short Project Bijou aims to get its participants to try to positively influence and improve outcomes in how personal data about themselves and others are treated. It’s a way of getting more people to think about how data is used and start to embed it in our day to day habits and behaviours.
We suggested making two animated films to help communicate the messages around this project. The first, what is project Bijou and the second, how it got its name and the thought process behind this. We used a specific style for the animation using the line drawn effect to build the imagery which we really liked in terms of is simple execution
As well as producing the animations, we also produced the logo for the project.
