Spike Productions Ranked in Top 50 UK Production Companies
Spike Productions has been listed by Televisual magazine as one of the top fifty visual communications companies in the sector. It’s the second time Spike has been on the list that highlights the best corporate communicators in the industry.
The “Top 50” is made up of the biggest and best production houses in the UK and Europe.
For a place in the Televisual top 50, companies are judged across a number of criteria. Scores are awarded for a company’s turnover as well as their reputation among peers. The survey also takes into account any medals at the annual IVCA and New York International Film & Video Awards.
Warren Mauger founder of Spike Productions said, “This is great news and reaffirms that we have a great team who are highly skilled in their profession. We are passionate about what we do and continually pushing ourselves to be even better. This year we have worked with many international brands and company’s around the world which is testament to the trust these challenging businesses place in our team”
One of the biggest challenges is the growing number of unskilled or inexperienced operators who claim to be professional. Being on a list like this sets us apart and proves we are a high-quality professional operation.
Since Christmas Spike’s team has been incredibly busy working on exciting projects from Hollywood films to complex event and advertising productions. The business is seeing increasing demand for high quality 3D animation and we have invested in new staff and equipment to meet this demand. Dean Porter joined Spike two months ago and has already worked on a number of exciting projects including creating a 3D animated rocket which fires toothpaste for Aquafresh as part of an augmented reality brief in the Middle East.
Since January – in addition to Channel Island focused client projects – Spike has worked internationally with Fox Films, Philadelphia Cheese, Panadol, GlaxoSmithKline, Aquafresh, LMA, HSBC and Investec Trust.
