Spike have played an integral part in launching a Marketing campaign in Guernsey aimed at educating teenagers and men about Testicular Cancer. The campaign was commissioned by Charity Mug

Spike produced a film which is being shown in schools aimed at breaking down the taboo of speaking about health and in particular in the nether regions. This is a 10-minute video that will be used by the SHARE team as part of their sexual health lessons with secondary school boys. It gives boys easy to understand information about testicular cancer and self-examination. It was created for use in lessons and in an educational setting….

Both the video and the awareness campaign is aimed at breaking down men’s reluctance to talk about health issues and really drive home the health message about testicular and all men’s cancers. We want to spark conversations and make men realise it’s ok to talk about these things, and of course encourage men to make self-examination part of their routine. Spikes’ Warren Mauger also managed the strategy and photography which he seemed to enjoy a bit too much! Working with Simon Boucher Harris from Renegade photography they worked with some of the islands top sportsman to create some striking imagery which will be seen throughout the island, over the coming weeks and months. Warren and Simon may never be the same again!!
